Oftentimes, the spirits that remain on earth can be assisted by individuals living on earth who have the ability to communicate with them and can help move them along and this is done quite often. Sometimes loved ones that have remained alive on earth will then cross over and then the connection that the spirit has been hanging around for will then be stronger and help to bring that spirit soul across then as well. The ghost's confusion lies in the obsessive attachment they have to places, people and events where they can't let go. These actions of self-displacement are voluntary but special guides, called Redeemer Masters, constantly watch for signs that the known disturbed spirits are ready to exit.

Now this honorary guard is made up of people in your terms both living and dead. Those who are living in your system of reality perform these activities in an out-of-body experience while the physical body sleeps. They are familiar with the projection of consciousness, with the sensations involved, and they help orient those who will not be returning to the physical body. These people are particularly helpful because they are still involved with physical reality, and have a more immediate understanding of the feelings and emotions involved at your end. Such persons may or may not have a memory of their nightly activities.

That means simply that they have never ceased to live there has been an unbroken continuity of life for them, as indeed there is for all of us. But there is in the spirit world a vast organization of all its immense resources, and it must not be thought that these bewildered souls are left to shift for themselves. They are soon taken in hand by others long resident in spirit lands?as you judge time?who devote their spirit lives to such work. Our task is often a difficult one because it is not always easy for the soul to grasp what has happened. The mental equipment of the individual may cause a reluctance to accept the truth. On the other hand, those who are mentally alert will soon see for themselves the exact situation. If only knowledge of the laws and conditions of spirit life were universally diffused throughout the earth world, what a wealth of difference it would make to each soul as he came to reside in these lands.
