Both Agreements and DisagreementsA most general life plan is prepared before a spirit is reincarnated. Once it reaches its human level it is generally disconnected from its spiritual level and any pre-knowledge it has been given, because it does not have to follow that path--it is being given the choices.

AgreeAs the time approaches for rebirth, we go to a space where a number of bodies are reviewed that might meet our goals. We have a chance to look into the future here and actually test out different bodies before making a choice.

AgreeWhen we plan our lives, we choose to "work" with other souls whom we love very much and who love us.

AgreeNow there are many matters concerning the nature of conception that should be discussed here. Again, however, there is leeway and many variations. Usually between lives you choose ahead of time your children, and they choose you as parents.

AgreeYou have made appointments, each of you, that you have forgotten. They were signed, so to speak, before you were born in this existence. In many cases the friends that you make were close to you long before you met them in this present life.

AgreeAs you form your physical existence individually and collectively, so after the time of choosing [between life state], you join others who have decided upon the same general kind of experience. A strong cooperative venture is then begun as preparations are made. These will vary according to the type of existence chosen. There are general patterns, therefore. No individual's reality is identical with another's, and yet there are overall groupings.

AgreeWhen we incarnate - that is, when we place a portion of our consciousness in a body and focus our perceptions on the physical realm - we create an illusion in which we appear to be separate from one another and All That Is.

AgreeAs eternal beings, we are well aware of the purposes of our lives before we incarnate. When we are born and cross the veil between the physical and nonphysical, we forget - in some instances permanently, in some temporarily - the reasons why we came here. Life challenges often serve to remind us of our purpose.

AgreeAll discuss before incarnation what is to be done. Is it too much? Things are altered, decisions are changed, until an imprint is decided on and published in the Akashic Record.

AgreeYou are assuming that we are the only one that made this decision. Think of the boy, the child. What if he decided that he was going to have an abbreviated life, wanted the benefits of having Valerie as the mother-personality for the time he was on Earth, and she agreed? Sometimes short lives are chosen when a soul wishes to accelerate its growth. We ask you to know that there are no simple answers. All lives are interconnected. This is a basic spiritual tenant. So, to ask A happen simply because of B - no, it happened because of B, B prime, C, and many other reasons. This is why planning is required before incarnation - to make sure that the life weavings benefit all for the reasons they wish to learn.

AgreeQuestion 501: Why is the influence of spirits on us hidden? And why isn't their protection readily apparent to us? Answer: If you counted heavily on their support, you would not be acting on your own accord and your spirit would not progress. In order to advance you need to acquire experience, often at your own expense. You need to exercise your powers otherwise, you will be like a child who is never allowed to walk by itself. The influence of the spirits who desire your welfare is always regulated in such a way as to leave you your free will...

Agree...each of you choose those life conditions that you have for your own purpose, knowing ahead of time where your weaknesses and strengths lie.

pg. 359, 1994

AgreeQuestion to [Valerie's] Higher Self: I then asked how much of what happens in a person's life is planned before birth. Ans: There is not just one way to do it. Certain souls at their level of growth need things completely planned. As a soul is older, it is more willing to leave many doors open for choice. You would not expect a soul going through its first incarnation on Earth to be able to leave as much to chance as a soul who has done this many, many times. Not all souls are equal in advancement. Not all methodologies for creating personalities and karma are the same.

Watching a peaceful death of a human being reminds us of a falling star; one of a million lights in a vast sky that flares up for a brief moment only to disappear into the endless night forever.
