Embrace this learning process that you are going through on earth and continue to turn within and ask your spirit guides about the lessons you are learning about, what you should learn about feeling your own feelings, about feeling your own emotions. Based on my practice, I am convinced that everyone on this planet has a personal spiritual guide. Spirit guides speak to our inner mind if we are receptive. While some guides are more easily reached than others, each of us has the ability to call upon and be heard by these guides.

This is like a young man saying, 'When I grow old and retire, I will use all those abilities that I am not now developing.' You are setting the stage for your 'next' life now. The thoughts you think today will in one way or another become the fabric of your next existence. There are no magic words that will make you wise, that will fill you with understanding and compassion, that will expand your consciousness.
pg. 172, 1994Many times what prevents any human being from moving beyond their current spiritual consciousness level is because of one of the biggest human restraints, the feeling of fear--fear of the unknown, fear of not being good enough, fear of being laughed at, fear of not being accepted. It is the necessity of seeing oneself as you truly are, replied the angel, and believing in one's own truth, one's own identity. It has to do with the belief that all love is deserved, that unconditional love is deserved. The angel had beautifully stated the heart of the spiritual growth process on Earth: self-love is kindled when we cease to think of ourselves as limited, flawed personalities and instead remember that we are transcendent beings. To recognize this inner light is to change thought patterns and by extension, physical health.
