Spirit families can change somewhat and the reason that they change is because there will be spirits within your spirit family who will have chosen not to evolve, not to move on. There will be new family members who come into your family because they were able to evolve and move much faster into your group through their actions and spiritual evolution and the life lessons they learned in this most recent reincarnation.

There will be new family members who come into your family because they were able to evolve and move much faster into your group through their actions and spiritual evolution and the life lessons they learned in this most recent reincarnation. There will be spirits in your spirit family who have moved on because their lessons and spiritual evolution was so much more powerful and so much more acknowledged that they are able to move on. The grouping that you are with generally is the one you always will be with except for these cases that we have just discussed.
As a person on earth chooses--as a spirit before it chooses to reincarnate as an earth being--they do not always know how extreme some of the lessons they are going to have on earth will be and that their status with their spirit family will be changing. But when this does happen and they make their crossing over they do not feel a sense of loss or feel a sense of abandonment. They embrace the changes that take place both for themselves and for their other spirit family members.

One can finally say I am tired and I no longer choose to move from this place that I am in. I am happy right where I am. Oftentimes that means that you will have an entirely new spiritual family because many of your spirit family members do seek to move further ahead.

One does not ever move into a lower spirit family though one can ask permission to go and visit other spirit families, whether they are of a stronger spiritual evolution or one that is not as strong spiritually as you. You as a spirit do have permission to go and visit. Generally this is because there has been a spirit within your group who has chosen not to move on, and you have, and you would just like to extend that love that you have for that spirit and let that spirit know that what you on earth would call judgment--there is no judgment--you have just had a heart connection with that spirit and you want to be able to continue that regardless of how they have chosen to evolve.

I want to summarize what I have learned about the basic principles of soul group assignments: Rates of learning vary among peer group members. Certain souls will advance faster than others in a cluster group, although these students may not be equally competent and effective in all areas of their curricula. Around the intermediate level of learning, souls demonstrating special talents (healing, teaching, creating, etc.) are permitted to participate in specialty groups for more advanced work while still remaining with their cluster group.

Although the companion souls in a cluster group started together, they do have different rates of development. This has as much to do with drive and motivation as talent. Each soul does possess certain strengths that their companions can draw upon during group incarnations. As the group gets smaller, many go off into different specializations but they do not lose contact with each other.

These souls have now begun to expand their vistas away from their primary groups...These assemblages of more specialized souls are rather loosely knit at first. I want to summarize what I have learned about the basic principles of soul group assignments: At the point where a soul's needs, motives and performance abilities are judged to be fully at Level III in all areas of self-development, they are then loosely formed into an "independent studies" work group. Usually, their old guides continue to monitor them through one master teacher. Thus, a new pod of entities graduating into full Level III could be brought together from many clusters within one or more secondary groups.

Now there are some who resist the new existence, even though they chose it, as long as possible. To some extent they must be present at birth, but they can still escape any full identification with the born infant. They hover within and about the form, but half reluctantly. There are many reasons for such behavior. As I understand it, there are many beings who choose never to incarnate. If incarnation is the only way to learn certain things, why do some beings choose not to have physical lifetimes?
Higher Self: The human experience does not encompass every experience that is important for a being's growth. There are no words to explain some of the concepts that can be learned when a soul never incarnates on Earth or in a human personality.

When people in trance speak of being part of a soul cluster group, they are talking about a small primary unit of entities who have direct and frequent contact, such as we would see in a human family. Peer members have a sensitivity to each other which is far beyond our conception on Earth...Members of the same cluster group are closely united for all eternity.
